Our mission is to be the global leadership center for understanding and adapting to the challenges of rising sea level. Our purpose is to become a catalyst for smart private and public sector policies, explain the science behind sea level rise to millions around the globe, advance education across multiple professional disciplines and lead the way towards intelligent adaptation.

Today we need bold action to help communities, businesses and governments to “understand, plan and adapt” to this inevitable, new reality. Presently no institution offers practical and accurate information about the massive challenge of adapting to sea level rise. Our Institute was created to fill that void.

With support from concerned corporations and citizens like yourself, the Institute can serve humanity as an unbiased, global and objective “thought center” that can translate the latest science into real world solutions.
